Day opportunities for older people

Day services for older people

It's important to keep active, even if you need lots of help with personal care or have memory problems.  We have a number of small schemes in different settings where you can enjoy lunch and refreshments, meet people and join in with activities.

Qualified staff are on hand to help with things like going to the toilet, washing or eating. Transport can be provided if you need it.

Family carers also need time to socialise or take a break from the day to day tasks of caring for someone. Carers can use these services knowing that the person they care for is in a safe and supportive environment for part of the day. Contact Carers Centre for more information
