What is the Local Account?
Every year the Council produces a Local Account. The Local Account is the Council’s statement to the local community about the quality of adult social care services in Barking and Dagenham.
The local account explains how much the Council spends, what it spends money on, what services we provide and commission, how we have performed, our achievements and our future plans for improvements.
This year's Local Account 2014 -15
Normally we produce the Local Account in a document format. However, this year we have produced it as a film.
The film stars some of our residents, council staff and staff who work in other services who support people, such as care homes. They tell you about their personal experiences and their feedback on Social Care services in the Borough.
Let us know what you think about the Local Account by emailing your feedback to email@example.com
The full video of the Local Account can be found below. However, we have also produced ‘short films’ on topics covered in the Local Account. These can be found at the links below on the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Youtube channel.
