The Care Act 2014 introduces major reform in the way we deliver adult social care.
The QuickCards aim to ensure that practice is consistent and are designed to be easy to follow for staff at all levels.
- The QuickCards are not a substitute for the Care Act or Care and Support Statutory Guidance, nor are they comprehensive procedures. They will help us through the first months of operation of the Care Act and will result in tested and robust operational procedures.
- The QuickCards have been developed by the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and are not to be reproduced without permission
QuickCard topics are:

2.P. Urgent need
