Getting information in different ways

Sometimes you might need information in other formats, perhaps because you have problems with your sight or hearing, English is not your first language or you have difficulties with reading then we can provide information in different ways.

If you have problems with your sight or hearing

We can provide information about our Adult Social Care Services in a variety of ways, including large print, Braille, and video versions.

If English isn't your first language

We know that the borough is home to a rich diversity of cultures, and that English might not be your first language.

If you need our public information translated into another language, please contact our Equalities and Diversity Team. They can also arrange for an interpreter if you want to speak to us and don't have a friend or relative who can translate for you.

The languages available include Albanian, French, Lithuanian, Portuguese, Somali, Swahili, Turkish and Yoruba.
